LINEAR / ROTARY ACTUATORS

SMAC provide a comprehensive selection ofcombined linear/rotary actuators with either direct drive or gearbox equipped rotary units. Standard linear resolution on all SMAC actuators is 5micron with 1micron and half micron options available on most models. The rotary resolution varies between 4864 counts for gearbox units and 20,000 counts for the direct drive LAR34. Please call us with any special requirements you may have.

LAR20

The linear/rotary version of the LA20 retains the 20m height of the LAL versionand provides the combination of a 15mm linear stroke together with a direct drive 14,400 count rotary.

LAR30

A choice of 15mm and 25mm stroke lengths. The rotary has a gearox for increased torque and has a 76:1ratio.

LAR34

The LAR34 is our highest specification unit designed specifically for high speed pick and place applications. A 25mm stroke linear combined with a direct drive 20,000 count rotary.

LAR55

The LAR55 is a recent addition to the range and it has 50mm, 100mm stroke lengths with a hi torque direct drive rotary.

LAR95

The 95 has stroke length options of 15mm or 50mm, with a 66:1 gearbox rotary.
